Highland Rescue Team Foundation Scholarship

Improve recruitment and retention of volunteers by offering opportunities to further their education. Strengthen and enrich the team by assisting with members' personal growth and goals.

Members who have volunteered for Highland Rescue Team for 12 months or longer are eligible.

Scholarships will be awarded throughout the year on a rolling basis.

An award decision will be made within 45 days of submission.

Scholarships are only available to current volunteer members of Highland Rescue Team who have met all membership requirements for at least the last two calendar quarters.

Partial scholarships may be offered.

Scholarships may be reoccurring.  The maximum award to a single person per 12 month period is $2500.

Scholarships are available for current or future course work.

The selection process will consider:

• Dedication to our community
• Ability to serve as a positive ambassador of HRTAD
• Length of service
• Financial need
